A man was twice the limit when police caught him drink-driving on New Year’s Day, Wigan justices heard.

Yousef Rahimi, 26, of Railway Road, Leigh, was fined and banned for 19 months after admitting being under the influence while in a Range Rover in Chapel Street. He can cut his ban to 19 weeks by taking a drink-driver course.
