Road ban for Wigan motorist who took cocaine before driving

A motorist has been banned from the road for a year for driving under the influence of cocaine.

Tyrone Lane, 24, of Fraser Road, Worsley Hall, admitted having taken the class A drug when police stopped his Ford Fiesta on Ormskirk Road, Pemberton.

A fine, court costs and victim surcharge mean that he must also pay out £239.
