A 21-year-old Wigan man has admitted to launching a savage attack.
James Piper, 21, currently of HMP Preston, appeared in the dock at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court to plead guilty to a single charge of unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm on Lee Dainty in Wigan on August 23 last year.
The bench committed him to Bolton Crown Court where he will be sentenced by a judge on Wednesday May 25, before which time he has beenm granted unconditional bail.
