The snow did its best to spoil this year's Wigan Run Festival but hundreds of plucky Wiganers wouldn't let it.

Check out our gallery of pictures from the 5k race. Despite the half marathon being cancelled due to the snow, the 5k and Family Mile both still went ahead.

Well done to everyone who took part and for all the spectators for cheering runners on.
